Terms of Service

By purchasing an eSIM plan from MyTaiwaneSIM (mytaiwanesim.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them before completing your purchase.
1. The Service
MyTaiwaneSIM sells prepaid eSIM data plans for use in Taiwan. Upon successful payment, we deliver an eSIM QR code to the email address you provide. This QR code allows you to install a data SIM profile onto your compatible device.
2. Eligibility
- You must own or have authorization to use the device on which you install the eSIM.
- Your device must be eSIM-compatible and unlocked (not carrier-locked in a way that prevents eSIM use).
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have parental consent.
It is your responsibility to verify device compatibility before purchasing. We provide a compatibility list to help, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with every device model or firmware version.
3. Delivery
eSIM QR codes are delivered by email within 60 seconds of successful payment in most cases. Delivery may occasionally take up to 15 minutes during high traffic. If you have not received your QR code within 30 minutes, check your spam folder, then contact us at supportmytaiwanesim@gmail.com.
4. Activation & Plan Start
Your data plan countdown begins when your device first connects to the Taiwan mobile network using the installed eSIM — not when you scan the QR code or install the profile. You may install the eSIM before your trip without activating it.
Each QR code can only be scanned and installed once. Once installed, it cannot be transferred to another device.
5. Refund Policy
We offer refunds under the following conditions:
- Full refund: If your QR code was never delivered due to a technical error on our part.
- Full refund: If the eSIM fails to activate despite correct installation on a confirmed compatible device, and our support team is unable to resolve the issue.
- No refund: Once an eSIM QR code has been scanned and the profile installed on a device, the eSIM is considered used and is non-refundable — regardless of whether data was consumed.
- No refund: For incompatibility caused by a carrier-locked device, an unsupported device model, or incorrect installation by the user.
To request a refund, email supportmytaiwanesim@gmail.com within 7 days of purchase with your order email and a description of the issue.
6. Prohibited Uses
You may not use our eSIM plans for:
- Resale or redistribution of eSIM QR codes or data.
- Any illegal activity under Taiwanese or international law.
- Automated or machine-generated traffic that violates the carrier's fair-use policy.
7. Network Coverage & Speed
Our eSIM plans run on Taiwan's carrier networks. We do not control network availability, speeds, or coverage in specific locations. While coverage is excellent across most of Taiwan, we cannot guarantee signal in every remote area. Network speeds may be throttled after the data allowance is exhausted (where applicable).
8. Limitation of Liability
MyTaiwaneSIM's total liability for any claim arising from your use of our service is limited to the amount you paid for the affected eSIM plan. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of income, missed communications, or travel disruption caused by connectivity issues.
9. Changes to Plans and Pricing
We reserve the right to change plan prices and data allowances at any time. Changes do not affect plans already purchased.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration.
