1. Overview
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of eSIM data plans from mytaiwanesim.com ("we", "us"). By purchasing a plan, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility & device requirements
You are responsible for confirming your device is eSIM-compatible and carrier-unlocked before purchasing. We are not liable for plans purchased for incompatible or locked devices.
3. Orders & payment
Orders are processed through Stripe and/or PayPal. Prices are listed in USD and charged at checkout. By submitting payment you authorize us to charge the full order amount to your selected payment method.
4. Delivery
eSIM QR codes and activation details are delivered automatically by email upon successful payment, typically within a few minutes. It is your responsibility to provide a valid email address and check your spam/junk folder.
5. Validity & activation
Each plan's validity period begins when the eSIM first connects to a network in Taiwan, not at the time of purchase. Unused data does not roll over and validity periods are not extendable.
6. Refunds & cancellations
Orders are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of purchase, provided the eSIM has not been activated (i.e., has never connected to a network). Once an eSIM has been activated, the order is final and non-refundable. To request a refund, contact us via the Support page with your order ID.
7. Acceptable use
Plans are intended for personal, non-commercial data use during travel in Taiwan. Reselling, tethering for commercial purposes, or attempting to circumvent fair-use limitations may result in service suspension without refund.
8. Limitation of liability
We are not liable for network outages, coverage gaps, or service interruptions caused by underlying carrier infrastructure, your device, or events outside our reasonable control.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
